Here at Literacy Volunteers for Tifton-Tift County our volunteers understand the importance of literacy and the impact it has in the success of our county. Close to 20% of the Tift County adult population lacks a high school diploma, and the tutoring services that we offer can help change that. We ask that anyone looking to make a difference complete a tutor intake form today. Once completed, we take your interests into consideration and match you with one of our clients after a short tutor orientation. We require that our tutors donate just 1 hour of their time for at least 10 weeks. During the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, our tutors have the option to meet with clients in a virtual format or face-to-face.
